What emissions data do suppliers report?
Scope 1 and Scope 2 totals, Scope 3 totals and the categories included, intensity ratios, energy use and the renewable share, reduction targets, and the methodology behind the numbers. Suppliers answer the same set each cycle, so the record builds year on year.
Can we see which suppliers have science based targets?
Yes. Whether a supplier is in the SBTi process is one of the questions they answer, alongside target year and base year. You see who already has momentum and who needs a push, which is what decides where engagement time goes.
How do we reach the suppliers below our tier-1?
Through your tier-1 suppliers. They disclose who supplies them, and every newly named company is screened on arrival, so the chain extends without you contacting anyone directly. Worldfavor runs that supply chain mapping inside the same cycle rather than as a separate exercise.
Do suppliers have a way to calculate their own emissions?
Worldfavor offers suppliers a CO2e calculator so they can produce their own figures, using emission factors from open libraries, alongside templates and guides on how to report. It helps a supplier make a start, and is not built to produce a corporate inventory.
Does Worldfavor calculate our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions?
No. Worldfavor is a supplier engagement layer, not a calculation engine. Suppliers report their own emissions totals, categories and methodology, and those answers stay traceable to the supplier that gave them. Your team takes them into the reporting tool you already use.
How does this feed our CSRD or SFDR reporting?
The same supplier answers serve several disclosures. Emissions and target data collected once carries into ESRS E1 reporting under CSRD, and into the greenhouse gas indicators investors report under SFDR. Worldfavor keeps one data set behind both, refreshed each cycle.
